Amanda Starkey Helms is a Las Vegas-based ceramic sculptor originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She earned a B.A. in Art with a concentration in Sculpture and a minor in Art History from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and graduated cum laude in 2026. Working primarily in hand-built earthenware and stoneware, she transforms familiar objects through changes in scale, material, and condition. Her work has been exhibited at the Donna Beam Fine Art Gallery, Sahara West Library, and Goldwell Open Air Museum, as well as in online exhibitions presented on Artsy.
